Here at Autism Anglia, we appreciate that navigating the costs of a private autism or ADHD assessment can often be confusing and so have tried to make the process as easy as possible.
Your Initial consultation is just £199 and following some screening checks, allows you to spend some one-on-one time with a clinician before you make a commitment to a full assessment.
Quality of service is key and so we only want you to enter into the full assessment process if both yourself and our team feel comfortable in doing so.
So the Initial Consultation allows us to do just that, allowing you to make informed choices and have peace of mind, every step of the way.

We understand that managing costs can be a concern, so we offer a simple and transparent way to cover the cost of your assessment in three easy payments, with 0% interest.
How Does It Work?
It’s really simple. If you prefer to spread the cost of your assessment, you can choose our flexible payment plan:
- Three Easy Payments: After you have paid for your Initial Assessment (£199) and you and the team has agreed that a full assessment is right for you, you are invited to split your remaining balance into three manageable monthly payments.
- No Interest: Enjoy 0% interest on your payments.
- First Payment: Due at the time of booking your assessment.
- Balance: The final payment can be made the month after the assessment.
This option is available upon request, making it easier for you to access the support you need without financial stress.

These are some of the questions people often ask when considering the costs for their assessment.
What does the Initial Consultation cost include?
Before we begin the assessment for autism or ADHD, we need to do some screening checks and the clinician will review the forms you submit. This helps us understand if there are signs of autism or ADHD and also show strengths and difficulties. Further to the screening checks, you will attend a video consultation with a trained clinician to talk you through your pre-screening results and which pathway (if any) is appropriate.
What does the assessment cost include?
Our assessment cost covers the entire diagnostic process, including the assessment itself, a comprehensive diagnostic report, feedback and optional follow up appointment.
Why are your assessment costs the same regardless of the age of the individual?
We believe in providing the same level of care and attention to everyone, no matter their age. That’s why our pricing is simple and transparent, reflecting the consistent quality of our diagnostic assessments.
Are there any hidden fees I should be aware of?
No, there are no hidden fees. We believe in complete transparency, so the price you see is the price you pay. There are no additional charges for follow-up consultations or reports.
Can I get a refund if I need to cancel my assessment?
Yes, we understand that sometimes plans change. Your Initial Consultation (£199) is non-refundable but If you go on to book and then need to cancel your assessment, please let us know as soon as possible. We offer a full refund if you cancel at least 2 weeks before your scheduled assessment date or will be discretional depending on if we can offer the appointment to someone else.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We offer several convenient payment options, including bank transfer, cheque, debit/credit card, and our 0% interest “Pay in 3” plan.
How does the 0% “Pay in 3” payment option work?
It’s easy! Once you have paid for and attended your Initial Assessment, you can choose to spread the cost of your assessment balance via 3 monthly payments with no interest. Your first payment is due when you book, and the remaining balance is due the month after your assessment date.
Can I pay in instalments if I choose not to use the “Pay in 3” option?
If you need a different payment plan, please get in touch with us. We’re happy to discuss alternative arrangements to suit your needs.
I am using my medical insurance to claim back my assessment costs. Can you help me with the documentation I need to present?
Absolutely! We can provide Autism Anglia branded invoices and receipts at the time of payment for you to submit to your insurance company. If your insurer needs anything specific, just let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate any special requests.
Do you offer any discounts or financial assistance?
We strive to make our services accessible. While we don’t offer discounts, we do provide flexible payment options, including our 0% interest “Pay in 3” plan, to help manage the cost.
